Celebrating 10 Years of Nintendo DS.

Hello MyIGN!

In about a month, the Nintendo DS will be celebrating its ten-year anniversary here in North America. Launched in 2004, the DS managed to cement its place within gaming history by selling over 150 million units worldwide as well as 940 million pieces of software across its library of over 1300 games. That is a lot of games! To commemorate this occasion, I though it would be fun to compile a massive list of MyIGN’s favorite DS games for all to see!

To do this, of course, I would need you guys’ help. I want this list to be about what the MyIGN community loves, so your opinion is what ultimately matters. Participating is simple: simply comment below with your list of top 10 DS games (you can post less than 10 if you want) and a sentence or two describing your top pick (optional). On November 21, I will post a blog featuring the results alongside some of your comments on the winners. Let’s make this something fun!

[Update] A few things since people asked:

• Please try to put your list in order if possible. I haven't figured out scoring yet but it depends on how many people end up participating. Lists do not need to be in order. I think I have received enough votes that each game can stand on its own.
• Please, Nintendo DS or DSi games only! DSiWare is fine. 3DS games should not be on your lists.
