6 days, 12 games, 1 week of impressions.

Sometimes you need to cheat your way through making your acronyms make sense.

I do not spend very much time talking about indie games here on my blog, even though I collectively named indie developers my developer of last generation (look, I only cheat when I have to). But all of this is going to change starting today. Announcing my new week-long feature: “INDIES: Impressions (on) Nintendo Downloads In (the) eShop”.

INDIES Promo

And yes, I am aware that not every game I will be talking about are technically indie (but they are all Nintendo Downloads in the eShop, so technically I am not cheating here).

Every day for the next six days, I will be posting impressions on two eShop games available on either Nintendo 3DS or Wii U. The list of games can be found below, with direct links available as each pair of impressions is posted. Keep this page bookmarked so you do not miss a thing!

In addition, I will be using a unique four-point scoring scale for each game, borrowed from ReviewTrax.com (which I have also written about before). For those unfamiliar with the four-point scale, here is the breakdown:

Excellent: a must-have for any gamer.

Good: a fine example of the genre it represents.

Mediocre: a flawed experience but still somewhat enjoyable.

Poor: a bad game.

Please enjoy and have a wonderful INDIE (Impressions (on) Nintendo Downloads In (the) eShop) Summer!
